Cyclocross bicycles are used for the cyclocross or CX modality, a purely competition discipline, in which you compete on the field and compulsorily have curved handlebars, like road bikes. A cyclocross bike can be aesthetically very similar to road and gravel bikes, but its geometry is somewhat different. CX bikes have shorter wheelbases compared to gravel or road bikes, to allow for very fast cornering and cornering, while also being more reactive, accelerating more quickly after each ride of curve. The top tube of a CX bike is higher than usual, in order to leave room to run with the bike on your shoulder, something essential in cyclocross competitions. According to regulations, covers up to a maximum width of 33 mm are used. Currently almost all CX bikes mount both disc brakes and single chainring, and pedals and shoes typical of mountain bikes are always used. The frames of the mid-range cyclocross bikes are usually made of aluminum and the high-end ones of carbon. It is not usual to find low range, since being a 100% competition discipline, the material is usually more professional than for recreational use. We have a wide range, including Giant's CX bikes, with the TCX model, Scott's range of cyclocross bikes, with the Addict CX model, Cannondale bikes, with the Super X and Caad models. as well as the women's CX bikes of the LIV brand, with its Brava SLR model.
